Augusta, Maine – Maine Residents will get a head start on this year’s statewide regular firearms white-tailed deer season with the upcoming Maine Resident Only Day on Saturday, October 27. Non-residents will be able to join the hunt beginning the following Monday, Oct. 29.
The last day of the firearms season will be Nov. 24, the Saturday following Thanksgiving.
The statewide muzzleloader season will begin the following Monday, Nov. 26.

2010 Spring Wild Turkey Hunting Season Begins May 3
Wednesday, April 28th, 2010Augusta – Spring wild turkey hunting season is upon us with a significant change in the spring bag limit.
The regular season for spring wild turkey hunting opens on Monday, May 3, and ends on Saturday, June 5. This will be a full five-week season for all turkey permit holders.
