Visit our 2024 schedule for 5 & 7 Day canoe trips on the Allagash, 6 day trip on the St John River and 3 day trips on the St Croix River. Trips are fully outfitted and guided, from $800 per person. Popular with families, scouts, teens, as well as adult, friends, individuals and youth groups.

ALLAGASH CANOE TRIPS are best trip for spotting moose! With it's easy flowing river sections and moderate whitewater on Chase Stream Rapids (optional). Numerous put in and take out locations, choose from 5-7 days.

ST CROIX RIVER CANOE TRIPS 3 & 5 days. The St Croix River flows along the eastern Maine border with New Brunswick, Canada offering great wilderness scenery, easy whitewater, maintained campsites and fishing for small mouth Bass. The St Croix is well suited for families and groups of all ages with little or no experience. Trips offered in the spring then after July 15th through September.

It’s well-known that the Allagash is one of the moose-iest places in Maine, and while not guaranteed, we are very likely to encounter moose and other wildlife. Eagles, loons, ducks, great blue herons, beaver and river otters are frequently sighted. Perhaps one of the most exciting photo opportunities on this trip is night photography. One of the best parts of the experience is our time in camp, enjoying great food and conversation around the campfire. The Allagash is one of the best places around to simply unplug and immerse ourselves in nature, photography, and camaraderie with like-minded travelers.

We're working with several lodges that have these permits available for purchase. Peak bull moose rut hunts take place in late September from remote, comfortable wall tent camps with guides that know how to call and locate moose.
