Striped Bass season in Maine generally runs from end of May through beginning of October. Early season we run "dawn patrol" looking for topwater action on shallow bays. As the season progresses, we spend more time around outside islands and channels fishing moving water. Trolling and live bait fishing can be productive but are a last resort for us.
